In a recent episode of his podcast, "The Edge with Micah Parsons," the star defender for the Dallas Cowboys, Micah Parsons, expressed his frustration with the way the media treats his team compared to others in the NFL. Parsons called for equal criticism and scrutiny for all franchises, specifically highlighting the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers.

Parsons took issue with the excuses made for the Eagles and 49ers after their Week 6 losses to the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns, respectively. Despite being favored to win, both teams failed to deliver. argued that the media made excuses for their poor performances, while the Cowboys face intense criticism when they fall short.

During the podcast, Parsons emphasized the disparity in coverage between the Cowboys and Eagles. He pointed out that the Eagles had a healthy roster, including quarterback Jalen Hurts and their receiving corps, while the Cowboys were receiving heavy criticism for their quarterback, Dak Prescott. Parsons questioned why the same energy and scrutiny were not applied to the Eagles.

"We want the same energy for everybody. Because there's a whole bunch of bashing when it's Dak Prescott, but not the same when it's the Eagles. I got time today." Parsons said.

Parsons also highlighted the excuses made for the 49ers, who suffered injuries to key players like running back Christian McCaffrey, receiver Deebo Samuel, and offensive tackle Trent Williams. In contrast, the Cowboys were not given the same leniency when dealing with their own challenges.

The star defender called for fairness and equal treatment from the media, urging them to keep the same energy when assessing all teams. Parsons expressed his frustration with the double standards and emphasized the need for unbiased coverage.

Parsons' comments come after the Eagles and 49ers, previously undefeated, suffered their first losses in Week 6. The Cowboys, on the other hand, secured a win against the Los Angeles Chargers, improving their record to 4-2.

Micah Parsons' plea for fair treatment sheds light on the challenges faced by the Dallas Cowboys in the media. As the team aims to prove their worth on the field, Parsons urges the critics to evaluate all teams equally, without bias or excuses.
